Historic Jamestowne

Back in June, we took the whole family to Jamestown, Virginia to witness the initial birthplace of the United States of America.

Looking over the James river, thinking about how isolated and alone the original settlers must have felt, and how their very survival was hanging by a thread is a humbling experience.
