Miles for Midwives

Every year the Alabama Birth Coalition hosts their annual fundraiser walk, which our family always makes a point to attend. It’s a cause very near to our heart, as we’ve had to travel out of state for both of our children to be able to have an out of hospital midwife delivery.

To help support the cause, I always attend the walk with full camera gear to photograph the event, and help raise awareness. Who knows, perhaps this coming year could be the year midwifery becomes legalized in Alabama!
