The Photoblog of Jay Williams

Yesterday at a local Civil War reenactment, I was fortunate enough to meet Wendell Decker, a photographer who uses the vintage 19th century collodion photographic process. It was amazing to see the whole progression from start to finish, and the final result of his work, as you can see, is truly a piece of art. If you’d like to see the steps it took to make this photograph, check out my Art of a Collodion Photograph set on Flickr. You can find out more about Wendell over at this site, Vintage Image Studios.
