The Photoblog of Jay Williams

Sometimes we all need to take a break, stop what we’re doing, and just take a walk, with a camera of course. That’s what I did recently, and had great success. I went out with only one lens, my 50mm prime, and my 12mm extension tube. After a walk around the block, I came back with a set of new and interesting macro photos.

At first glance I’m sure you don’t know what this is photographed above, but perhaps the photo’s title will give you a clue. That’s right, it’s a macro photo of a stop sign. I was drawn to the sign’s bright, vivid color, and the intricate details used to create the reflective surface, which I have never quite noticed before. I think this definitely qualifies as "A Different View" of a stop sign.
