The Photoblog of Jay Williams

While at the McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Alabama, I couldn't help but notice the nearby buildings. I'm not exactly sure what this building was used for originally, as they have the bottom all boarded up, but I'd guess it may have been some sort of apartment complex or maybe an office building?

The day I took this photo, it was rather overcast and a bit chilly. The soft sky was perfect for photography. If you notice, all the windows have a clear glossy shine, this is a result of the overcast sky. The 10mm lens really does a nice job giving you a wide angle view, but it does create some strange lines, but, I guess that's the price you pay for not having a tilt-shift lens. If you'd like, you can see the spot I took this photo over on Google Street View.
