The Photoblog of Jay Williams

After two days spent in Tennessee photographing the migrating Sandhill Cranes in the bitter cold no less, it felt good to come back home. But don't get me wrong, the trip was definitely worth it! I ended up shooting around 1,400 photos, met lots of wonderful photographers, and had a great time.

This photograph was taken on the last day of the trip, at 4 PM. And if you didn't gather from the title, this photo shows part of the Tennessee River, known as Chickamauga Lake, which despite the cold weather was quite beautiful. Amazingly enough, you can see the little beach where I took this photo on Google Street View, but sadly the Google Street View truck visited it on a very dreary overcast day.
