The Photoblog of Jay Williams

This photograph has an interesting story behind it. I saw this flower while I was walking down a boardwalk. I decided to get out my extension tube and get a macro shot of the flower. So I framed up the shot. And took the first photo. And as with all my macro shots, I refocus and take multiple shots to make sure that at least one of them comes out completely sharp. I was in the process of doing that when all of a sudden, I saw this bee in my viewfinder. Since I was already setup, I just pressed the shutter button. And then, in an instant, the bee was gone again. I was extremely trilled that I was able to get this shot, considering that the bee was a completely unexpected bouns. So there you have it. The story behind the photo. Enjoy!
