I love brick buildings, they are always vibrant and full of detail. The Post Office in Anniston proved to be all this and more! So, me and my trusty Leica film camera made a visit. Above is the result.
On a side note, I find it very gratifying to get photos like this out of camera equipment from the 1950’s. I doubt my fancy digital camera equipment will last anywhere near that long. I guess it just goes to show, it’s not the equipment that makes the photo, it’s the photographer.
Nice shot, and nice web too.

It has always been the photographer and not the equipment. Some of the best shots I made were with a 1.3 megapixel cam.
— DennisThe colors are vibrant, did you do any processing after scanning the film? The combination of the red bricks with the red, white and blue really works well. I'm not sure about the cut-off blue sign above it though. Perhaps removing this will make the picture even more stronger.
I see you have updated your entry page as well.
