Who on earth would design a building to look like this? I’d assume, nobody would. But over time, we can see how a brand new brick building has turned into an amazing array of conduits, wires and steel. One can only imagine showing this photo to the original architect of the building before it was built. I wonder if he would have built it differently? Or have provided a better means of upgrading the structure besides running pipes along the wall?
One can only wonder.

A great perspective, both in the photo and the analysis of the scene! Let's hope it wasn't designed like that originally. Perhaps appliances that required those pipes were added in much later…
