A Train to Nowhere
Details & CommentsAt an abandoned military base near by, there is an old train track, which can been seen in this photo. It hasn’t been used in quite some time, so as you can guess, things have gone down hill quite fast. But one person’s junk is another person’s treasure.

The great pair of tones in the sky and fore/middle ground here are really great. I love that kind of cloud cover, breaking up a plain blue sky beautifully. The high contrast works nicely, but for my liking I think the shadow detail may have been clipped a little too much. This by no means spoils a great composition with glorious colours.
