A Single Droplet

A Single Droplet

Details & Comments

Winter is still all around us, and its signs are still quite evident.

Yesterday I woke up to find a dense fog outside, jumping on this opportunity, I ventured outside with my 50mm lens and my extension tube. It was 30 degrees (F) outside, which is just barely enough to freeze water, but this droplet seemed to be immune.

Very nice. The use of DoF to draw attention to the droplet works well, though I do adore the leaf texture and would like to see more =] I'm certainly no photo tech expert, but I was surprised to find that f4 produced DoF as shallow as this. I look forward to experimenting in the future. Great work Jay!
